EIHA
EIHA History
In 2013 the Interest Group Infrared International was founded by 6 members from Austria and Germany. The original name was „Leistbares Wohnen – affordable living“. In 2016 it became an umbrella organisation for IG Infrarot Austria (2016), IG Infrarot Deutschland (2017), IG Infrarood Benelux (2018).
From the beginning, there was a strong cooperation with TU Kaisterslautern, Dr.-Ing. Peter Kosack, researcher in infrared over 10 years
In 2023 the association moved to Brussel and changed the name into EIHA (European Infrared Heating Allicance).
At the moment there are 52 members in 6 countries (Austria, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy and United Kingdom), representing the marketleaders (production, distribution) in those countries.
