St Michael’s Church in the UK needed a fast, sustainable replacement after its oil-fired boiler failed, and, under the Church of England’s 2030 net-zero goals, a new fossil-fuel system wasn’t an option.

The church chose Herschel Halo, working closely with Herschel’s heritage team to gain swift approvals and prompt installation. Four Halo chandeliers were installed to provide full coverage across the nave and side aisle, delivering fast, comfortable warmth without heating large volumes of air.

After their first full winter, the feedback is overwhelmingly positive:
